A weekly deep dive into one AI safety topic, open to beginners and experts alike.
What is it for?
One evening on one subject, every Tuesday. Each session runs for 90 minutes and stands alone. What is on depends on the week:
A recent paper, introduced briefly and then discussed
A topic too big for one paper, like Europe 2031
An invited speaker on their own work
A workshop, where people bring their own projects
Who is it for?
It depends on the session. Paper weeks assume some background in machine learning and AI safety. Our AI Safety Fundamentals course is roughly the bar. Topic weeks and speaker events are usually open to anyone interested, whatever you have read.
There's no sign-up beyond registering on our Luma calendar, where you'll also find each week's topic.
